Heimatgruß

The Heimatgruß (Homeland Greeting) was a yearly booklet published by the Landsmannschaft der Deutschen aus Litauen from 1957 until its last issue in 2015.

Each ‘yearbook’ contains a wide variety of content including family histories and stories, chronicles of villages and church communities, editorial articles on contemporary news and cultural events, recipes, photographs, and much more. They provide an important glimpse into the history of the German community in Lithuania, as well as events and commentary on the life of the Germans from Lithuania in a post-WWII world.
